The Smithsonian Folklife Festival honors contemporary living cultural traditions and celebrates those who practice and sustain them. This year’s Festival, Indigenous Voices of the Americas: Celebrating the National Museum of the American Indian, highlights living traditions of Indigenous peoples within the Northern, Central, and Southern Americas. Visitors at the Festival can enjoy a wide range of music and dance performances, artisan workshops, cooking demonstrations, hands-on activities, narrative sessions and conversations, and more. Accessible seating is available at all performance venues and concessions dining areas. A wide range of accessibility services are available including ASL Interpretation, Audio Description, and Real-time captioning (CART) for selected programs.
